He claimed that he wasn’t too far away when you called. He pulled up in front of your house surprisingly quick. It was around 8 one night and you decided you were going to call him and ask to meet up with him. Unfortunately, you had to tell him at some point. He lit this flame inside of you that you never knew you had. You already grieved your own life and accepted the facts, but then you met Jasper. They even researched other places around the US that could help, but alas nothing came up.
Your parents tried begging the doctors and talking to everyone they could. On the outside, you looked fine but internally you were dying. As much as you tried to avoid it the sickness was still there. You realized that you could spend forever with him and that saddened you. He would join you some days after school when you would walk to the library, and he knew so much about some of the books. The two of you began spending more and more time together. His gold eyes were so mesmerizing that you couldn’t help but get lost in them. It was almost as if he were concerned for you.
